Joshua Burnett

My name is Joshua Burnett.
I am a Michigan-based producer, filmmaker, and editor. I love working on multicultural and Arabic-language productions, and I have experience across narrative film, documentary, corporate video, and animation.
As a college student, I produced two full-length documentaries and three narrative short films. I took a break from school in 2021 to volunteer with Iraqi and Syrian refugees in San Diego, learning Arabic at the same time.
I returned to school in Michigan in 2023 and am currently completing a degree in psychology with a minor in business, while running my own video production company. I produce and edit videos for various local clients and businesses in Michigan.
My current projects include They Shall Be One, a student romance drama currently being filmed in Michigan; Wynella & Mooshie, a pilot for an animated series about to start production; and an untitled Arabic-language short film in preproduction in San Diego.
